Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces

  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F. Grease four 6-ounce ramekins with cooking spray or butter.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chopped chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and egg yolks until light and fluffy.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and whisk until well combined.

  5. Add the flour and salt to the chocolate mixture and whisk until just combined.

  6. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

  7. Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.

  8. Remove the ramekins from the oven and let them cool for 1-2 minutes.

  9. Use a knife to loosen the edges of the cakes from the ramekins.

  10. Place a plate upside down on top of each ramekin and invert the cake onto the plate.

  11. Dust the cakes with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
