Olive Oil and Cinnamon Apple Crumble For Dinner Party

 

Forget leaving a pie on your windowsill—we're all about CRUMBLE SEASONNN!!! One warning before you whip up this super tasty Sizzle apple crumble... Don't count on leftovers! In our experience, this one goes FAST!

Ingredients:

- 5 medium-sized apples (any variety will work)

- 1/4 cup olive oil

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1/4 tsp nutmeg

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- Pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Peel, core and chop the apples into small cubes. Place them in a large mixing bowl.

3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well.

4. Add the olive oil to the dry mixture and use a fork or your fingers to mix it in, until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

5. Pour the crumb mixture over the apples in the large mixing bowl. Use a spatula to gently mix the apples and crumb mixture together, making sure all the apples are coated.

6. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the apples are soft.

8. Let the crumble cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

9. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
