Ingredients

Crepe:

- 1 egg

- 125 grams milk

- 50 grams all-purpose flour

- 20 grams powdered sugar

- 13 grams melted butter

- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

More:

- 50 grams dark chocolate

- 45 grams of heavy whipping cream

- 15 grams powdered sugar

Instructions

1) First Step: Prepare the Liquids

Begin by cracking one egg into a mixing bowl. Add the milk and vanilla extract to the bowl. Whisk these ingredients together until they are well combined.

2) Second Step: Mix Dry Ingredients

Sift the all-purpose flour and powdered sugar into the egg, milk, and vanilla mixture. This helps to ensure that there are no lumps in the batter, leading to smooth crepes. Mix everything together until you achieve a smooth, lump-free batter.

3) Third Step: Add Butter

Add the melted butter to the batter and mix again. This step ensures that the crepes will be soft and tender with a rich flavor.

4) Fourth Step: Cook the Crepes

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat on the stove. Once the pan is warm but not too hot, add a drop of cooking oil or butter and spread it with a paper towel to prevent the crepes from sticking.

Pour about 1/10th of the batter onto the center of the warm pan. Immediately tilt the pan in a circular motion, spreading the batter to cover the entire surface thinly and evenly. Cook the crepe over medium-low heat for about 1 minute for a light, yellowish color, or for about 2-3 minutes if you prefer a golden-brown crepe.

5) Fifth Step: Prepare the Chocolate Filling

While the crepes are cooking, you can start making the chocolate filling. Place the heavy whipping cream in a small pot and heat it over medium heat.

Set up a double boiler or bain-marie by filling a larger pan with a small amount of water and placing a smaller pan with the dark chocolate on top. Stir the chocolate consistently until it melts. Once the heavy cream starts boiling, pour it into the melted chocolate and mix until smooth and well combined. Let the chocolate mixture cool slightly before using it as filling.

6) Sixth Step: Assemble the Crepe Rolls

Once the crepes are cooked, lay them flat and place a generous amount of the chocolate filling in the center. You can use a piping bag to neatly spread the chocolate across the crepe. Fold the crepes by bringing the edges over the filling to form a roll.

7) Final Step: Serve and Enjoy

Sprinkle the crepe rolls with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness. Serve them warm, and enjoy the delicious combination of tender crepes and rich chocolate filling.

These chocolate crepe rolls are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and impress anyone you share them with. Enjoy!
